5-30-2015: Lake Wampanoag
Hit the lake at 0500. Water was calm. Paddled along the shore in front of Camp Collier. Caught fist bass, little over 1 lb on a white Booyah Pad Crasher frog. Worked my way through all the coves on the West and North ends of the lake. Caught 6 bass and 5 pickerels. Biggest bass coming in a little under 3 lbs. Yamamoto 5" Curly tail grub Texas rigged weightless on light spinning gear with 10 lbs Suffix 832 braid was the ticket today.
Awesome day out fishing with my step-son. His first time kayak fishing - he's hooked!!
